Artwork for digitizing

Import PNG, JPEG and HEIC/HEIF directly. Images are decoded locally. Simple flat SVG shapes retain their contours and transformations; unsupported constructions are converted as a complete image before digitizing.

SVG gradients use image rendering when Preserve shades is active. Scripts and external references are rejected. Importing an SVG does not provide a native vector editor.

Faithful import

An unchanged machine file can be re-exported byte for byte in its original format.

Careful reconstruction

A stitch file does not contain the author’s full intent. DST-to-object conversion therefore remains experimental and reversible.
